FREE NATIONAL PARK ENTRANCE DAYS - June 19, 2025 & August 4, 2025
In honor of Free National Park Entrance Days, the National Park Service is offering free admission to the Christiansted National Historic Site on St. Croix. Explore this fascinating seven-acre site on the Christiansted waterfront that explores life on the island under Danish rule from 1734–1917. Highlights of the five historic structures on the grounds include the self-guided museums inside Fort Christiansvaern, the Steeple Building and the Scale House (which features a bookstore).
FARMERS MARKETS - Saturdays 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Browse stands stocked with the freshest vegetables and fruits at markets around the island on Saturdays, May through October. A can’t-miss experience is discovering spices, sauces, jams and more at the Saturday Market Farmer’s Exchange at the Agriculture Fair Grounds in Christiansted.
SUNDAY FUNDAY AT THE FORT - June 8 & 22 and July 13 & 27, 2025 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
All ages are invited to participate in fun activities while exploring Christiansted National Historic Site on the second and fourth Sunday afternoons of each month. Enjoy family-friendly arts and crafts, tales of adventure, music and more.
JUMP UP - July 11, 2025 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
During these mini carnivals held in Christiansted four times a year, the streets are closed to vehicles and filled with music, people socializing and dancing, and vendors selling food and wares. Upcoming dates are in May, July, November and February. The biggest Jump Up is held in February on Valentine’s Day.
MANGO MELEE - July 6, 2025 9:00 am - 8:00 pm
This popular family-friendly event offers kids’ activities, educational workshops, the Mango Dis, Mango Dat food competition, tropical fruit demonstrations and tastings, and the ever-popular mango-eating contests. Enjoy local food and drinks, arts and craft vendors, cultural dance performances, moko jumbies, music and more. The day ends with a silent auction of tropical fruits that have been displayed in the Great Hall.
